This book is a fantastic toolkit that helps use a journal to explore our realities, our memories, our limitations. As a result of this exploration, we transcend our limitations or, at the very least, challenge their validity.
Whether you are a novice journal writer or an experienced one, I do believe this book has something for everyone. There are so many creative ways to prompt us to use our journals more fully and to truly express ourselves through them.
Several tools are introduced. Many were previously known to me but better explained. Several new tools, however, I have only begun to use and found profound in their potential. The result of reading this book is that I find myself spending much more time with my journal and on the path to self-discovery.
Without giving much more away, I will say this book is a must-read and also a must re-read. I am sure there will be newer lessons each time I pick it up again.
